K-ON! Earphone

I found a stuff that I stored long ago when I opened my storage case today. It's a free gift that I received when I bought Newtype magazine November 2012 Issue, a K-ON! Earphone. The earphone's theme is from K-ON! anime, an anime that was a hit in the world back in 2009 to 2013.

K-ON! anime was about daily lives of a group of girls in a light music club. It's a slice-of-life and moe anime. The story was focused on the characters' daily lives in their own little group. The group never aim to get to Budoukan or going pro. They did some live performances and that's it. It's a light hearted anime and you can enjoy watching it in your free time.

I'm not going to talk about the anime. This post will be about K-ON! earphone that I got for free. The earphone was packaged in a rectangular cardboard box.

Unwrapping the packaging and the earphone will be out of the box.

K-ON! Earphone

The earphone has star shaped design and a guitar cable holder. The cable holder was designed to looks like Hirasawa Yui's guitar. Yui is the guitar player in K-ON! anime.

A detailed look at the earphone and we can see 'HTT' word is written on it. 'HTT' stands for Ho-kago Tea Time, the group's band name in the anime.

Because of its star shaped design, it's not comfortable on my ear. The earbud can't get much into my ear. Overall, it's not pleasant to wear for a long time.

That's how it looks like on my ear. Pretty embarrassing to wear in public.

The earphone did a decent job on music. I can hear music clearly using this earphone but it has low sound quality. I can't feel bass with it. Even my old SONY MDR-EX60LP earphone has far better sound quality. As a free gift item, this K-ON! earphone is as a collectible anime item but not as an earphone as it offered low sound quality.

Feel free to drop any comments. (^_^)
